CD PROJEKT RED announced the Japanese and English casts together on June 30, 2026, ahead of the first episode's Anime Expo screening. The eleven characters listed on the official site carry confirmed credits in both languages; Omi, Kyoko and the single-episode figures are credited in the episodes themselves.

This is Ikarashi's directorial debut on a full series. Hiroyuki Imaishi, who directed season 1, publicly passed him the role at Anime Expo 2025.
